Port Canaveral Doubles Terminal 5 Size And Adds Major Parking Garage

Port Canaveral has announced major upgrades to its cruise infrastructure with a reimagined Cruise Terminal 5 expansion that will double the facility to 170,000 square feet. This expansion is alongside a new 13-storey parking garage at Terminal 6 adding 3,700 spaces.

The projects represent a combined investment of nearly $175 million by the Canaveral Port Authority to accommodate growing cruise demand from Central Florida.

The strategic timing of these improvements positions the port to capture additional market share as cruise lines deploy larger vessels and expand their Caribbean and Bahamas programmes. With major cruise operators maintaining significant presence at Port Canaveral, the enhanced infrastructure will enable the port to accommodate increased passenger volumes and larger ship deployments.

Terminal 5 Transformation Delivers Modern Passenger Experience
