Crystal Cruises is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Under the ownership of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group (AKTG), the luxury cruise line is constructing its first new ship in 25 years. This marks a significant milestone in the brand’s storied history.
### Key Milestones in Ship Construction
The new vessel is set to be delivered in May 2028. The construction process will kick off with a steel cutting ceremony in May 2026. Following this, the keel laying is scheduled for December 2026 at Fincantieri’s shipyard. These events mark the beginning of a new era for Crystal, showcasing their commitment to luxury and innovation at sea.
