MSC Cruises Expands Yacht Club to Musica Class Ships
MSC Cruises is set to enhance its Musica class ships with the luxurious Yacht Club experience. By 2027, both MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra will feature this premium offering. This expansion was announced on 2nd February 2026, as part of the ships’ scheduled refurbishments. Once completed, all Musica class vessels will boast this exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept.
Yacht Club Coming to MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra
The MSC Musica, weighing in at 92,409 gross tons, will be the first to receive the Yacht Club upgrade. This installation is planned for late 2026, just before the ship’s seasonal journey to South America. Following closely, MSC Orchestra will undergo its transformation in early 2027, aligning with its Mediterranean itinerary from Bari. These additions mean MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra will join their sister ships, MSC Poesia and MSC Magnifica, in offering the Yacht Club experience.
Bringing Luxury to Smaller Ships
This move is significant as it extends one of MSC Cruises’ most sought-after premium products to smaller, more traditional ships. Previously, the Yacht Club was mainly available on newer, larger vessels. Once the upgrades are complete, the MSC Yacht Club will be accessible on 19 ships across the fleet. The Yacht Club concept includes spacious suites, 24-hour butler service, a dedicated concierge, and exclusive areas like private dining venues and lounges.
Commitment to Premium Experiences
MSC Cruises is committed to enhancing the onboard experience. The company aims to create exceptional and memorable cruise holidays. With the addition of MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra, the Yacht Club will appeal to guests seeking a premium and luxurious travel experience. Although Musica-class ships are smaller than newer vessels like MSC World America, MSC Cruises is dedicated to delivering a consistent premium experience across all ship sizes.
Details Awaited on Yacht Club Features
MSC Cruises has yet to confirm the number of Yacht Club suites to be added to each ship. It is also unclear if other public spaces will be altered during the refurbishments. More information is expected closer to the opening of Yacht Club bookings. Currently, both MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra can accommodate 3,223 passengers.
Yacht Club Launches Aligned with New Itineraries
The introduction of the Yacht Club on these ships aligns with their upcoming deployments in key cruise regions. MSC Musica will operate in South America from November 2026 to April 2027. It will offer itineraries focused on Brazilian ports, including eight- and nine-night sailings over Christmas and New Year. The programme will also feature visits to Buenos Aires and Uruguayan ports.
