The previous record of 2,728 margaritas was shattered with the help of enthusiastic guests and crew. Princess Cruises proudly shared the news on Facebook, celebrating the achievement with the message, “Raise a glass, we did it!” The record was officially confirmed by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who presented a certificate on board amidst a flurry of confetti and camera flashes.
Perfect Timing and Location
Cozumel, a bustling Mexican cruise port, was the ideal setting for this margarita marathon. Known for its tequila, a key margarita ingredient, the location added a touch of authenticity. Princess Cruises used Pantalones Organic Tequila for the cocktails, the same brand that christened their newest ship, Star Princess, in November 2025.
