Revisiting The Costa Concordia Disaster

Costa Concordia ran aground off the Italian island of Giglio on 13th January 2012 after striking submerged rocks during what became an unauthorised close approach to the island.

The disaster also had a lasting impact on public perceptions of cruising. While the industry has continued to grow over the past decade, Costa C
